KATHLEEN T. HARRIS, Ph.D., J.D.

I have nearly 30 years experience advising students to be successful in college, grad school, and beyond. As a member of the admissions team at three major universities, I have an insider's perspective on what makes an applicant stand out. I've volunteered as a  reviewer for national collegiate scholarship competitions and for the leadership scholarships at Cal. As a Fulbright alumna, I served as a reviewer for the US Department of Education's Fulbright-Hays Summer Seminars.

Under my guidance, Loyola students earned over $2 million in scholarships and fellowships and my students bested the campus historical record ( 8 awards in 40 years) when 35 of my advisees won the award. You can see some of their stories on the testimonials page.

I earned my B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley. During both my undergraduate and gradaute years, I won scholarships to fund study abroad and research in France, Italy, and the United Kingdom.  While I was pursing my law degree at Loyola Law School,  I

I studied human rights and environmental law in Costa Rica and international arbitration in Italy. I am a two-time Fulbright Scholar, an honor which took me to Latin America and the Middle East.

I am passionate about inspiring my candidates to see the admissions and application process as a time to discover their strengths, see where they can flourish, and to present the

most powerful and authentic application possible.
